Full Time Cabinet Designer / Part Time CAD Designer

Duties Include:

We are looking for a Custom Cabinetry Designer to grow with our team. We are looking for a motivated person with strong communication skills and great attention to detail. A minimum of 5+years of experience in 2020 Design Software is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Employee will work mainly in an office environment but will also be required to make jobsite visits.

  • Work with customers to understand needs and design functional, comfortable kitchens and bathrooms using 20/20
    software that meets code and customer requirements.
  • Take accurate site measurements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Define project requirements and schedule.
  • Creates accurate orders that lead to minimal re-designs needed.
  • Assist in managing kitchen and bathroom installation with process to provide customers with seamless point of
    service.
  • A good working knowledge of all KitchenCraft product lines and willing to learn other brands.
  • Team player: able to work well with others, but also have the ability to work independently without supervision.

  • Read and interpret blueprints

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in cabinet design.
• 2020 Design Software proficiency, minimum of 5 year’s experience
• Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, a plus.
• Design degree or certification desired.
• Portfolio of past jobs.
• Good people skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to have multiple projects going at one time.
• Ability to develop and nurture relationships with clients and vendors.
• Team attitude.
