Full Time Cabinet Finisher

Duties Include:

We are looking for a full-time cabinet finisher to grow with our team. This person will work collaboratively with our Cabinet Designers and Field Operations Manager, as well as independently on assigned projects. We are looking for a motivated person with strong communication skills and great attention to detail.

We would like our Cabinet Finisher to possess the following:

-Proven experience as a wood finisher/painter, preferably in the custom cabinetry and furniture industry.
-In-depth knowledge of wood finishing techniques, including surface preparation, staining, painting, and varnishing.
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing flawless finishes.
-Knowledge of different wood types and their unique characteristics.
-Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot finishing-related issues.
-Physical dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

-Prepare wood surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling, and smoothing imperfections.
-Apply stains, paints, varnishes, or other finishes to achieve desired colors and finishes.
-Utilize various painting and finishing techniques to achieve flawless results.
-Blend and match colors to ensure consistency across projects.
-Follow project specifications and client preferences to achieve desired outcomes.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines.
-Perform quality control checks to ensure the finished product meets our high standards.
-Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and new products related to wood finishing.
